Traveling as Couple
We stayed in another hotel the following night, for about the same price. It was a mistake! We should have stayed at your hotel for both nights and learned a lesson.

A pleasant place to stay well kept and clean and neat. The staff was all friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good and the area was well kept.

Clean and decent free breakfast. We went for our anniversary and were upset when they wouldn't give us a single bed. Good location. Close to town.

The cookies were a nice touch in the lobby. We utilized the computer to check out the Harley Davidson store in Bakersville. That was nice not to have to call.

Moderately priced hotel but loud due to roads and trains nearby. The air conditioners sound like wind tunnels when they turn on. Very loud.

Solo Traveler
The room temperature was 79 degrees when we arrived. So we turned the thermostat in the room down to 60 degrees. But OMG we awoke at 3 a.m. to a sweltering 80 degrees! Apparently we failed to press the snowflake button on the thermostat. So an otherwise perfect stay turned rather miserable. I just wish someone had set the room to a comfortable temperature for us before our arrival late that night. ...read more
